Some good news on the sale of homes for the Phoenix real estate market

ASU Realty studies is reporting an increase in resale homes.

This has been the best month for resales since June of 07. Damn, the trend is your friend, however we have more foreclosures in the month of May. Does that really mean resales are up when the soup de jour, is ah la Lender owned?

There are question per the accuracy of ASU reporting of what a transaction is and is not says all Phoenix Rea estate Jonathan Dalton.

The Good news is, that the inventory is moving. Homes are selling. In my opinion I think the number of Bank Owned properties is greater than the 25% being reported. 35%?

I met with my buyer Saturday morning at my satilite office, which just happens to be inside a Starbucks 9am sharp we were off to see our first of several homes for the day. Great couple taking advantage of the current market conditions, looking for a long term rental investment. What is the next best thing to finding the home of your dreams....finding the neighborhood of your dreams.  the neighborhood is Agritopia. Located in the not so South, very east part of Gilbert at Higley & Ray roads. built from 2004 by Scott homes. Agritopia has that midwest bungalow look, maybe even a little Hollywood bunglow design. Bike trails, community pool, tennis courts. Neighborhood school. Close to resturants, and Cosmos dog park. My client really likes that 1950`s feel that Agritopia has. The only negitive thing about the neighborhood is that of the twelve active listings, ten are short sales. OK every neighborhood is having a tough time, however those are some tough numbers to swallow. Well atleast the homes have great curb appeal
